What Baby Atlas is
Baby Atlas is software for learning about pregnancy and keeping track of your own records. It is an educational and organisational tool. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, and it does not replace care from a qualified healthcare professional.
These terms are between you and the person or organisation running this installation. Baby Atlas is self-hosted software; the operator decides who may register, what integrations are enabled and how long data is kept.
Your account
- You need to be old enough to hold an account under the law where you live.
- Use an accurate email address — it is how you recover access.
- Keep your password to yourself. If you share it, everything in your account is shared too.
- Tell the operator if you think someone else has used your account.
You can turn on a second factor at any time, and we recommend it. Recovery codes are shown once; store them somewhere you can reach without this account.
Acceptable use
Do not use Baby Atlas to:
- Upload anything you do not have the right to store.
- Attempt to reach another account, or data you have not been given access to.
- Interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or its rate limits.
- Present information from Baby Atlas as medical advice to anybody else.
What you record stays yours
Everything you enter belongs to you. The operator stores it so the service can show it back to you, and for no other purpose. You can export it or delete it whenever you want.
Availability
This is self-hosted software running on someone’s server. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or for reasons nobody planned. Do not rely on it being reachable at a moment when something matters urgently — keep your care team’s contact details somewhere that does not depend on this app.
Liability
The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Neither the authors of Baby Atlas nor the operator of this installation are liable for any decision made on the basis of what it shows you. Decisions about your health belong with you and your care team.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law where you live.
Ending your account
You can request deletion at any time from your settings. Deletion takes effect after a short cooling-off period so that a change of mind, or an account taken over by somebody else, does not become permanent immediately. The operator may close an account that is being used in breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the version number changes with them, and you will be asked to read and accept the new version before continuing. Acceptance is recorded against a specific version — you are never treated as having agreed to wording you were not shown.
