Baby Atlas is not a way to reach anybody

If you think something is wrong, contact your maternity care team or your local emergency services directly. Nothing you write here reaches a person.

Getting started

I did not get a verification email

Check the spam folder first, then request another one. Verification links expire after a while, so an old one will not work even if it arrives late.

This installation may have email switched off entirely. If it does, the person who runs it can hand you the verification link directly from the admin portal.

I do not know my due date

You do not need it. Baby Atlas can work out an estimate from the first day of your last period, from a conception date, or from roughly how many weeks along you are.

Whatever you choose, you can change it later — including replacing an estimate with a date from a scan. Changing it re-dates the timeline; it does not lose anything you have written.

Do I have to answer every setup question?

No. The only things Baby Atlas needs are an account and enough information to place you on the timeline. Everything else can be skipped and picked up later from your settings.

Setup remembers where you left off, so closing the tab halfway through does not start you over.

Privacy and sharing

Who can see what I write?

Only you, until you invite someone. When you do, you tick exactly which categories they can see, and you can change or withdraw that at any time.

The check happens on the server, so a partner who cannot see your health entries gets a refusal rather than an empty screen.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, at any time and without asking anyone. An export contains everything you have entered, in a format other software can read.

You can also delete your account. Deletion runs after a short cooling-off period so an accidental request, or one made by somebody else, can be undone.

Using Baby Atlas

Does it work without a signal?

Partly. Pages you have already opened stay readable, and anything you write is kept on your device and sent when you are back online.

Baby Atlas always tells you when something has not been sent yet. It will never show a change as saved when it is only on your phone.

How do reminders reach me?

Reminders always appear inside the app. Whether they can also arrive as a notification depends on your device and on what this installation has set up.

On Android and on desktop browsers, notifications work once you allow them. On an iPhone or iPad they only work if you add Baby Atlas to your Home Screen, and only on iOS 16.4 or later — they do not work in a browser tab there, in any browser.

Can I turn off the celebratory parts?

Yes. There is a setting that suppresses congratulatory copy, milestone celebrations and size comparisons everywhere in the app, and another that hides weight tracking completely.

Both take effect immediately and apply to every screen, not just the one you set them from.

Questions about your pregnancy

Is what I am experiencing normal?

Baby Atlas cannot answer that, and it will not try. It has no information about you beyond what you typed in, and it is not able to assess anybody.

Your maternity care team can answer it. If you are worried, contact them using the instructions they gave you — that is what those instructions are for, and you do not need a reason good enough to justify calling.

I think this might be an emergency

Contact your local emergency services or your maternity care team now. Do not wait for an app, and do not spend time looking something up first.
